Busty Figure

If you have a busty figure, finding the right bikini top can feel like an impossible task.  The good news is you may be able to wear a wider variety of styles than you think.  Although there are some features that are a must when you are above a certain cup size, incorrect sizing is to blame for more ill fitting bikini tops than choosing the wrong cut.  A great example of this is a bandeau top.

Many busty women shy away from strapless dresses and bikini tops because they assume it won’t offer enough support.  While that may be the case with some tops or busts, it is not always the case.  Strapless tops are meant to be worn with a snug fit, so busty women should opt for the next size down from their natural size when selecting one.  If the next size down does not have enough fabric to cover your breasts, a bandeau with an adjustable tie back can be tightened to fit the way you need it, as well.

For women with a busty figure, similar logic applies to other cuts, as well.  Butterfly and triangle tops can be a problem for busty women from a coverage standpoint.  Instead of skipping these styles, try a larger size so there is more fabric available for coverage.  The string ties can always be tied tighter to secure the fit, and if the strings are too long they can also be easily trimmed up and stitched, as well.

If you prefer a worry-free top that gives you the coverage and support you need right out of the box or bag, look for top styles that feature supportive underwire or that have thicker straps.  A sweetheart style top is a great option that makes a busty figure look amazing by supporting the breasts from underneath.  The wide set straps add to the appeal by creating beautiful cleavage.

Finding the right bikini top can be a challenge for a busty figure, but the results are oh-so worth it once you find the perfect style for your body.
